肩関節鏡手術は、同じ肩の異なる部位で広範囲なデブライドメントが行われたとしても、広範囲なデブライドメント（例：CPTコード29823）が含まれます。 もし他の関節鏡手術が、同じ日に、同じ肩に、同じ受益者に、同じサービス日に請求され支払われた場合、広範囲デブライドメント（コード 29823）は別途支払われるものではなく、CPT コード 29823 は拒否される。
Separate reporting of extensive debridement only applies to three CPT codes: 29824, 29827, and 29828
